Kirra's new blanket

"Thanks Nona for my new blanket I just love it so much", Kirra

Having Fun!!!!!!!

Our friends Julie and Jason came over last Saturday night for dinner. We all had so much fun. Samantha handed Jason a piece of paper and he made a paper airplane out of it. From that we had airplanes going all over the house. Jason, Eli, Julie and I had fun throwing them and having Samantha or Sierra get them for us. Jason also read Samantha books (look at the book closely it is a Sudoku book and have no words). Samantha had fun listening to Jason make up the words. Kirra also had a great time with Jason she really just looked at him but it was funny to see all the different looks they gave each other. Don't let the pictures fool you Julie also had fun and she held Samantha and Kirra but I did not get any pictures of them. We all had a great night and cannot wait to do it more often.

Playing outside

Samantha playing out front one Thursday. Our friends Shannon and McKenna come over for the day. Samantha loves when Kenna comes over. They played so hard that when they left Samantha fell asleep. She talks about Kenna everyday and asks when is Kenna coming over.

Sirra

Our puppy Sierra. She is 7 years old and a great dog to have around. She misses her buddy Mitchell but she has so much fun with Samantha and Kirra.

Kirra's 4 month check-up

After Kirra's four month shots she had a fever that was about 103. So to cool her down we put a cool towel on her head. It seemed to help a little bit. I just thought she looked so cute.

Samantha

Samantha being silly.

Kirra

Our beloved Mitchell

On Friday Eli and I had to make a very very hard decision. We had to put our youngest dog down. When I got home on Thursday, I saw that Mitchell blue eye was yellow. He was also not himself, all he did was lay around and for all you that know he that was not him. So on Friday I called the vet and they wanted to see him right a way. They said it had something to do with his liver and kidneys. They just where not working anymore. I got there about 12:30 he was breathing really hard and blood was coming out of his nose. He also could not move. So I just sat with him until Eli got there. Then we had to make up our minds do we send him to a clinic, they might be able to help me or let him go. They said that if even if we sent him to the clinic that he still might not make it. So Eli and I said we did not want him to be in pain, so we sent him to heaven to play with our good friends daughter Kayla who passed away on Dec 2, 2007. We hope that he is having a great time up there with her because we sure do miss him down here.
